SharePoint: DLK Advisory
What was the Issue
Company document were being shared in Dropbox whilst M365 was being used to email and productivity apps. The cost to run Dropbox whilst SharePoint was available did not make sense. Permissions were also not easy to manage in DropBox and as the company grew this became harder to manage. There was also no central point of communication for staff to find internal news and announcements and find documents such as templated and forms easily.
What was the End Result
A company intranet in SharePoint as well as company-wide training to help with the adoption of SharePoint. A custom-built communication site utilising out of the box features as well custom built webparts that integrated with other M365 apps such as company calendars to centralise data. Document storage was built into the site to organise company data and set up permissions securely using the correct policies.
