Solution Underwriting is an insurance underwriting agency that financial lines, general liability and accident and health insurance solutions.
The Challenge
In 2020 Solution Underwriting had become frustrated with their existing IT Managed Services Provider. They were experiencing a lack of responsiveness, increasing costs and limited proactivity.
This lack of partnership and alignment with their MSP was impacting the business by delaying projects and potentially increase risk.
The Solution
Solution Underwriting decided to look for an alternate Managed Service Provider. They reached out to Microsoft for a recommendation. Cloud Made Simple was introduced who immediately began working with Solution to develop a support and .. strategy to meet Solution’s needs.
After agreeing service levels and responsibilities, Sarah Scoble, Finance and Operations Manager for Solution Underwriting, signed a contract with Cloud Made Simple.
The Result
Solution Underwriting have now been a VIP customer of Cloud Made Simple for two years.
In this time CMS has provided desktop support to users, but also made significant improvements across Solution’s systems, and importantly for Solution, worked closely with Solution and its other business partners in rolling out new systems and functionality.
All staff go directly to CMS for support. Fortnightly meetings are held to discuss issues and proactive recommendations.
During the last two years, CMS has rolled out the following solutions with Solution Underwriting
- Join all devices to Azure Active Directory
- Migration of data to SharePoint
- Implemented increase security measures
- Implementing Teams Calling as new phone system
- Moved devices to a modern workplace architecture
